Welcome to Herston Family Dental

Thank you for your interest in our dental service.  We are a family owned and operated practice caring for patients of all ages.  After an extensive revamp of the existing dental clinic, our doors reopened in January 2017, allowing new and existing patients to be treated in a modern and comfortable setting, with up to date quality dental equipment.

Dr Aitu Nguyen is the principal dentist at Herston Family Dental.  Since graduating from the University of Queensland in 2000, he has worked for Queensland Health in rural towns and metro clinics, in private practice in Brisbane,  with the Indigenous Community Health Services, and as a clinical supervisor of the University of Queensland dental students.

Aitu looks forward to continuing to provide a caring and complete service to his patients at Herston Family Dental.  Patients can be assured of his extensive experience in providing dental care to those at all stages of life.  He understands coming to the dentist can be nerve wracking for some, and he and his staff will work hard to make your visit a comfortable and positive experience.

Dr Peter Dyer, formerly from DentCo Fortitude Valley, has recently joined us.  Peter is a meticulous dentist who is very gentle. He enjoys the more challenging aspects of dentistry such as oral surgery and root canal treatments. He graduated from the University of Sheffield in the UK. There he worked in several very busy dental surgeries before moving to Australia in 2004.  Peter also works as a Senior Dentist and clinical supervisor of University of Queensland dental students. Peter believes in having an ethical approach to dentistry.  His wealth of experience, knowledge, and his kind manner are a great addition to our practice.
